Saint Barbara Apartment is placed right next to Church Of St Barbara. Is yet another fabulous church in this beautiful city. The church was constructed between 1387 and 1456 and despite being destroyed in two subsequent wars was rebuilt each time and in the 17th century a 40 metre tower was added. As with most of Gdansk this church suffered extensive damage during WW2 and was not rebuilt till long after the war ,between 1956 and 1967 the church underwent restoration and although it lost its original unique shape this great Old Town church now looks awesome . The church is easy to locate on Długie Ogrody in an area of outstandingly beautiful architecture. Well worth checking out.The Long Gardens district is located in the eastern part of the Śródmieście district, on the New Motława River, which is bordered by the islands of Ołowianka and the island of Spichrzów. From the north this area borders on Sienna Grobla, from the east with Rudno and from the south with the Lower Town. Dlugie Ogrody is located in the historical district of Gdańsk.
The historic Church of St. Barbara from 1387 The decor of the presbytery is contemporary, the church is decorated with seven historic sculptures donated by the National Museum in Gdańsk. The church tower, 40 m high, with three bronze bells placed in 1969, a gift from the priests of the Magdeburg Diocese. As in the past, the tower dominates the Dlugie Ogrody district. It is a Protestant temple.
Stągiewny Bridge with the Stągiewna Gate The bridge connects the Granary Island with the Long Gardens to the east. There is a historic Stągiewna Gate next to the bridge. The shape of its tower was associated with jars in Gdańsk. Hence the name of both the bridge and Stągiewna Street, which begins at the western abutment of the bridge. On the eastern abutment there is a confluence of Szafarnia, Długie Ogrody and Szopy streets.
Żuławska Gate from 1628 (originally the Long Gardens Gate) - a historic city gate in Gdańsk, located in the city center within the limits of Długie Ogrody Street, at its eastern end leading to Żuławy.

All bedrooms have large and comfortable single beds that can be joined together to make a large double 160 cm bed. In the living room there is a bed sofa for 2 people. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and also a washing machine. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven with microwave, stove, coffee maker, kettle, food processor and accessories needed for daily use in the kitchen. It is possible to rent bikes for an additional fee. There are 4 bikes available.Don't worry about losing or returning your keys! This apartment offers a secure, keyless entry with a smart lock. You can lock and unlock the door with your smartphone using a unique virtual key or a password valid for the duration of your stay. In the hall there is a spacious wardrobe for outerwear and a shoe cabinet. The apartment is assigned an access code to the front door, which can be shared with other members of the apartment. You don't need any keys with you.
